Encore In Wonderland
On 16th May 2026, Encore Dance Studio will proudly present Encore in Wonderland at the Pendle Hippodrome. Rehearsals are already underway, and we can’t wait to showcase everything our dancers have been working so hard on. Tickets will go on sale at the end of January.
Jordi Guitart
On 16th February, we are excited to be hosting Jordi Guitart for a Jazz Masterclass. Jordi will be working with our students on the foundations of jazz technique, sharing his extensive knowledge and experience. His expertise spans a successful professional performance career as well as roles as Head of Dance at leading performing arts colleges, making this an invaluable opportunity for our dancers.
CYD NorthWest
On 7th June, selected dancers from Encore will be travelling to CYD Sheffield to compete and take part in a range of industry-led workshops. Our performance piece is based on endometriosis and explores the impact this condition has on women across the UK. This is a cause that Encore feels strongly connected to, and through dance we are proud to help raise awareness and give voice to an important issue.
Sasha Woodward
In November, we had the privilege of hosting West End sensation Sasha Woodward for a series of inspiring workshops. Sasha has recently performed in Moulin Rouge! and appeared in the Wicked film. She led themed workshops for our junior students, based on Wicked, and for our senior dancers, inspired by Moulin Rouge! an unforgettable experience for all involved.
Joffrey Ballet
We are incredibly proud to share that our Dance Captain, Claudia, was recently scouted at a dance event and invited to attend the Joffrey Ballet Summer School in New York City. This international opportunity is a huge achievement and reflects not only Claudia’s dedication and talent, but also the high standard of training and opportunities provided at Encore Dance Studio.
New Uniform
We’re proud to announce the launch of our new Encore uniform, introduced at the start of the 2025/26 dance year. The updated range includes T-shirts, jumpers, joggers, and zip-up jackets, giving our dancers a smart, comfortable, and unified look both in and out of the studio. This is in addition to usual class attire.
Competition Success
Our competition team is going from strength to strength this academic year, delivering outstanding results across the competitive stage. We are incredibly proud to have placed first with solos, trios, and group dances at three different events so far this year. These achievements are a true reflection of the high-quality training, dedication, and passion within our studio, alongside the confidence, commitment, and talent of our dancers. We couldn’t be prouder of everything they continue to achieve.
